The Kern County Sheriff and CHP's Mojave office, not LA County agencies, handle crashes and police tows here.

Antelope Acres is a rural, unincorporated part of LA County about 12–15 miles northwest of Lancaster. It is reached from the city by Avenue G or Avenue I, and from the north by Avenue D (SR-138). Give the dispatcher the nearest numbered street and avenue, such as 90th Street West and Avenue G, and say whether the car is on pavement, a dirt road or a soft shoulder, because that decides whether a winch-out is needed.
- Lake Los Angeles
About 24–27 miles east of Lancaster: out Avenue J, then south on 170th Street East past Saddleback Butte State Park.
To get a tow in Lake Los Angeles, call with the nearest grid corner, such as 170th Street East and Avenue O, or use the GPS button on the online request. Say whether the vehicle is on pavement, a dirt road or soft sand, because sand may need a winch-out first. The drive out from Lancaster is long (about 18 miles on Avenue J alone), so ask the provider for an arrival estimate and the full price before you agree.
